&lt;p&gt;The issue I see that future ownership needs to see clearly in Jim Bowden is his reputation among his fellow GMs.  From what I have read, he is not viewed in the most positive light. This is compounded by the fact that he has apparently burned some bridges with other teams.  Alienating yourself from specific teams is &lt;B&gt;definitely&lt;/B&gt; not what you want to see from your GM.&lt;/p&gt;
