Interesting comments from the Patriot-News article this morning on Melvin Dorta:
“Dorta (2-for-5) extended his team-high hitting streak to 13 games and has legitimately turned himself into a Washington Nationals prospect. Director of player development Andy Dunn said Saturday he has almost nightly talks with Senators manager John Stearns about Dorta’s future.”
I’m guessing that some here have seen him play - and if he does have a future, it’s as a super-utility kind of guy.
What positions can/does he play serviceably, and would he be any use (or is it all just paper talk?)
Cheers
K
