The Nationals made quite a few roster moves today. The Senators have the press release detailing much of the action. In summary:
- RP Bill Bray moves from New Orleans to Washington; replacing RP Joey Eischen
- RP Roy Corcoran moves from Harrisburg to New Orleans replacing Bray
- CA Wiki Gonzalez accepted his assgnment to New Orleans
- SP Anastacio Martinez has been activated from the DL in New Orleans (Note: Steve Watkins has not yet been activated from the DL)
- To make room for Martinez and Gonzalez in New Orleans, RPs Devin Perrin and Dan Foli move from New Orleans to Harrisburg
- To make room for Perrin and Foli in Harrisburg, SP/RPs Justin Echols and Beltran Perez move from Harrisburg to Vermont
- The Senators also add RP Brett Campbell from Potomac and are in the process of adding the recently signed OF Prentice Redman to the Harrisburg roster
- No announcement has been made regarding whom Potomac will receive in place of Campbell. At present, the P-Nats are two players short of a full roster
I’ll have some notes on the recently moved players shortly.
