In corresponding moves, OF Michael Daniel, IF Jonathan Castro and RHP David Trahan were transferred to the Vermont roster, but will remain with the Sand Gnats through the All-Star break.

This may be a simplistic question, but how good is Broadway? Who would you compare him to? Is he ready for the majors right now? Can he play the OF possibly?
I ask cause he has been a strong hitting prospect for a while, but you never seem to hear a mention of him getting called up. Thanks anyone with some info-

Personally, I don’t believe Broadway is as good as Nick Johnson. I believe he best projects out as a contributor off of the bench. He is only a couple of years younger than Johnson and in his limited appearances against major league pitchers (Mark Prior this week for example) he has been overmatched.
That being said, he could be a contributing piece used in the right situations.

So if you were the Nationals, what would you do with Broadway? My thinking is Nick Johnson is a good guy to trade at this point, if the drop off from Johnson to Broadway wouldn’t be too significant.
To whom would you compare Broadway to? The article mentioned John Olerud, fair comparison?
