Todd Jacobson of the Fredericksburg Free Lance-Star has the news. Garrett Mock, one of the pitchers acquired from the Diamondbacks in exchange for SP Livan Hernandez, underwent successful surgery yesterday to “repair a tear in the patella tendon of his left knee.” It is anticipated that Mock will need 4-5 months to rehabilitate the injury.
