Team president Stan Kasten and General Manager Jim Bowden were in Columbus, Ohio, yesterday to explore the possibility of moving the club’s Class AAA affiliate there. Washington’s agreement with New Orleans expires this year and the team is considering several options

There’s an article in today’s issue of the Columbus Dispatch about the visit with some more details. Apparently the Clippers want only a two-year PDC so that they can try and get a deal with the Indians and the Reds when their agreements expire after the ‘08 season.
