Apparently, the Hagerstown game was cancelled because the idiots there never put down a tarp: http://thoughtsofrs.blogspot.com/2007/07/suns-still-working-on-discovery-of-tarp.html

Just an FYI for anyone who decides to make a special trip -- this isn't the first time the Suns have been so inept.

A better question: Besides Zimmerman, are there any W-Nats worth trading for? Cordero, you may say... is there anyone THAT desperate?

Nomination for weirdest line of the month?

Anthony Benner, of Vermont -- he was 0/5 but had an RBI and three runs scored (without walking) . . . so, that would be "5 3 0 1"

(I'm guessing that the fact the their opponents' infield made five errors had some part in this)

Benner's night
1st AB - 2nd inning - ground out
2nd AB - 4th inning - strike out
3rd AB - 7th inning - reached on error, scores on single by Whiting
4th AB - 8th inning - reached on force out at 3rd, to 3B on single by Whiting, scores on error by SS
5th AB - 9th inning - ground bunt into a force out to 3B to 2B Benner on 1B, to 2B on WP, scores on HR by Tolan

All in all - one crazy game. Best I have seen in my 14 years of going to the games.
