He's been hitting really well in the lead off spot. His defense was spectacular last night (he has great range), and he's a good base runner. Granted he's probably a bit old for low A, but I think he should move on to AA or AAA next year.</p> <p>Other things I noticed: the Suns have improved their defense. I've been bashing them all season long for not playing good defense. But I noticed that all of the infielders were putting themselves in front of the ball and blocking it to account for the crappy hops of Municipal Stadium. The problem has been addressed, so good job Tommy!</p> <p>Francisco Placencia has a killer arm. He had an assist, and should've had another.</p> <p>Chris Lugo pitched very well, and only made one mistake (a home run) in his five innings.</p> <p>Robby Jacobsen has a good glove (always has).</p> <p>John Popper is hitting better now.
