Congrats to the Pnats for a good season. Its very encouraging to see the last couple of drafts producing good results at Vermont and Potomac. Next year Hagerstown, Potomac and Harrisburg should all be playoff teams as real prospects fill roster spots instead of the old expos.

I absolutely agree about the P-Nats. What a great ending to the year.

I was also heartened to see that Harrisburg played better late in the year after thier dreadful start. I can only assume that this is the result of our prospects slowing moving up the chain. We might be a couple of years from the big club getting a regular talent infusion from the system but all of the sudden it doesn't seem hopeless.

And how about those DSL Nats? Anyone know if any of those guys are legitimate prosepects?

I will miss seeing Michael Martinez play. He always played hard. I will also miss Lindon Bond, who has a great attitude and played pretty well at times. I will miss Robby Jacobsen, Pat Nichols, Francisco Guzman, Joe Napoli, Marcos Cabral, and Trevor Lawhorn (we hardly knew ye). I will miss Johnathan Castro, and his smile. I will miss Josh Wilkie, Eric Arnesen, Yader Peralta, Yunior Novoa, Aaoron Jackson, and the rest. I will miss all of the 2007 Suns' players. Best of luck to all of them as they move on in their careers.

Best play of the Season: Leonard Davis extending himself into the beer garden and hitting his head on a table, while avoiding a little kid, and making a spectacular catch in a 20-4 game.

... Looking forward to seeing what all those fabulous Vermont arms will do next year. With so many stellar performances, I figure there's gotta be a good shot that of the bunch, one or more will make it big time.

It seems like Gerald Plexico has really come on of late when thrust into the starters role.... It may have coincided more with Balester's call up to Columbus though as judging from their myspaces those two hung out a lot a lot

Suns fan,
I could not agree more on the Davis play.
I saw that one and his effort on that play was tremendous.
I will miss some of the players you mentioned as players, some as people and some as both.
And I would wager that a few could even be back in Hagerstown for at least the beginning of next year.
I just wish winter was already over and we could get back into action!
