Apologies for the quiet, network issues at home have left me internet-less for the last few days. Hoping to correct the problem tomorrow.

Hope you’re able to get it fixed soon!
In the meantime, I was curious who you thought would be the SP’s in each of the Nats minor league teams. In particular, which of the Vermont Boys (Willems, Zimmermann, Alaniz, Gibson, Pena, Kimball) will be in Hagerstown, and which would jump up to Potomac to start the season. Not to mention where McGeary and Smoker will start the season.
Also, is there any chance of seeing any of the DSL Nats pitchers start the season in GCL or Vermont? If you just look at the numbers, some of these guys had a ridiculous season down in the Dominican:
Frederico Tanco:
6-2 1.80ERA 75IP 66H 11BB 106K 1.03WHiP 12.7K/9
Jorge Urena:
6-3 1.87ERA 72.2IP 54H 17BB 90K 0.98WHiP 11.2K/9
Atahualpa Severino:
4-0 2.06ERA 52.2IP 39H 12BB 59K 0.97WHiP 10.1K/9
Marcos Frias:
6-3 2.18ERA 66IP 45H 24BB 64K 1.05WHiP 8.7K/9
I know it’s hard to gauge how good these guys are just by looking at the numbers, but those are pretty impressive numbers (especially the K/9 rate!). These guys are relatively young (Tanco and Urena are 21, Frias is 19, Severino 23) and it would be nice to see some of the Dominican players move up the pipeline and get a shot.

Severino made the jump to the GCL in 2007. I’d imagine that Urena & Tanco are almost a certainty in the GCL. Frias could get some more time in the DSL (he turns 19 in December of this year).
