The Senators, Class AA affiliate of the Washington Nationals, still don’t have an on-field manager. The Nationals have stated earlier they hope to have their minor league staffs announced by the winter baseball meetings.
MLB winter meetings are scheduled for next week (December 3-6) in Nashville, TN.

Being the GM of a AA team must be an odd job. You don’t have real control over your players; I suppose you just get to be one of the people at the table for big decisions. Perhaps they get to cut people, but they certainly don’t move people up from the level below, or make trades.

Minor league GMs have nothing to do with the player development/roster selection. Their job is all-encompassing with regards to everything else. Setting up promotions. Ensuring the stadium is equipped for the fan experience. I have known GMs that have changed light bulbs in the scoreboard.
