Happy Holidays! and thanks for all the work you put into this site. There is not a day that goes by that I do not check at least once for new news on our farm system. So congrats and thanks for all the hard work.

Two topics I was curious about: I was wondering if you were going to do your annual “Nats top 30-40 list” with some comments, similar to BA or John Sickels and the rest? I know it would be a great read and would be nice to get individual player comments from you, and the rest of this board, who have seen these guys play so often.

Also, I was hoping/wondering if you might do an post about our Latin America system and what we have down there, and how we have improved, what talent we have down there, etc. I know you did the individual team reviews (which were excellent) but I seem to remember Kasten mentioning often how important our overseas scouting was going to be to the growth of the farm system, and we rarely, if ever, see articles from Svrluga or the rest about Latin America.

I do plan doing a top 30-40 ranking. I’m headed out of town for the holidays so it likely won’t be up until the new year.

As for the Latin American system, I’ll see what I can pull together. That may take a couple of emails to get some more info

While you’re emailing about LA, I’d be curious to hear if they plan to do the scouting trips in the DR and Ven like last year. I believe those took place in January. They seem to have found some good prospects in Sanchez, Frias, and Leon.
