Digging around online, I found this additional move by the Nationals
WASHINGTON NATIONALS–Purchased the contract of OF Juan Senreiso from Laredo (UL)
Senreiso played in Independent ball in 2007 after splitting his career with the Kansas City Royals and Texas Rangers. Here is some information on Senreiso from back in 2004

Just someone to fill a minor league spot I guess, huh?

The Nats have always had a thing for OFers with speed. There are a ton of Indy League OFers with far more impressive numbers, but maybe a Nats scout saw something in Senriso that others have not.

Brian –
if he makes it, where do you think the Nats would put him? There’s a bunch of OFers in the minors (especially in AAA and AA). Off the top of my head I can think of Rog Bernadina, Kory Casto, Frank Diaz, Justin Maxwell, Mike Daniel, Marvin Lowrance, Edgardo Baez and some of the minor league FA’s the Nats have picked up likee Jason DuBois and Tommy Murphy.

Honestly, I really don’t see him as much more than roster filler. He could be a bench guy in Columbus or Harrisburg, assuming he sticks
There are going to be quite a few guys released once spring training wraps up.

Judging by Senreiso’s Reno numbers (at altitude), there’s always a chance we could flip him to the Rockies.

Why do you all hate Senreiso? I have seen him play and he is talented I think the Nationals are lucky to have him
