I think it’s safe to say that Ryan Zimmerman, Lastings Milledge, Chris Marrero, Elijah Dukes, and Ross Detwiler could all very well be contributing in a big way in 2009…

I think Jordan Zimmermann is going to be very good. People forget that he played D-III baseball in Wisconsin for 3 years, which is about 6 week season, and still was able to dominate with no time for adjustment.
Now that he is fully dedicated to baseball, I think Zimmermann will be as good as any of the arms in the system with the possible exception of Detwiler.

So, at what point should we see Marrero and Detwiler in the bigs?? THIS year?? Early NEXT year??
Just so we can prepare ourselves, you understand. Cause once they make it to the bigs, they’ll be there for AWHILE!!!
