Any way I look at this, it seems we keep both Willie Harris and Rob Mackowiak as long as WMP is injured. I see Langerhans going down. It seems also that Schroder has to go down when Hill comes back. O’Connor doesn’t make it.

I’d tend to agree. The other thing that needs to be worked out is one more 40-man spot. They are currently at 39/40 with both Ray King and likely Wil Nieves to add to the roster. Ryan Wagner can be moved to the 60-day DL or else they’ll have to drop another player (my guess is one of the Rule 5 guys).

I think we can safely assumed, based on his comments, that Lopez will not be on this roster so that frees up a space.

Chico might be a better bet than Lannan for that five spot simply because any sort of rough start might effect him less.

(G.Guzman wavied-opening on 40
man roster;Pena 15dayDL,replaces
Langerhans waived/AAA/release,
when Pena is ready)
UT- Harris(Makowiak 15dayDL)
(with Young,catcher #2,Boone,
outfielder #4,backup middle-INF
on the bench and Manny’s need for
12 pitchers,there is no room for
Harris & Makowiak when Hill
returns.Both could be traded)
