The Washington Nationals today retained the rights to outfielder Garrett Guzman by acquiring him from the Minnesota Twins in exchange for a player to be named later or cash considerations.
This means the Nationals can send Guzman to Triple-A and not have to retain him on the 25-man roster.

How do you think this effects the starting outfield at Columbus? I figure that Ryan Langerhans will be down there, as well.

Re Langerhans, we can only hope. I still suspect that there’s something the matter with him mechanically / physically, but don’t detect much interest by the Nats or the media in exploring the matter.

Goods news. He’s a left-handed outfielder with upside.
