I’ve added a few new links to the blogroll on the lefthand side.
- Perfect Game Crosschecker - PGCC is an invaluable resource for information on college, JuCo, and high school baseball. It’s a subscription service for much of the information but there are enough free articles to make it worth checking it out. Among the guys who write there are Allan Simpson, the guy who started Baseball America; and Patrick Ebert, who also contributes at the fantastic brewerfan.net, an amazing resource for draft-related information.
- The College Baseball Blog - Exhaustive and up-to-date coverage of the happenings around college baseball.
- Saber-Scouting.com - A new site on the web. It’s a combination of sabermetrics and scouting. One of the contributors there is Frankie Piliere who provided Nationals coverage for Scout.com.

Has there been any word as to when Flores will be sent back down? Estrada can come off the DL anytime now, correct?
Brian Oliver | 07-Apr-08 at 12:32 pm | Permalink
Estrada was placed on the DL retroactive to March 21, so he is available to come off the DL at any time (15 days ended on April 5)

Do you have the pitching probables for the P-Nats here? Or a link to a site with that info? I’d like to make it out to see the phenom myself.

No pitching probables as yet.
I know that Johnny Nunez pitched the opener on Friday, Cory VanAllen made the start on Saturday, and Ross Detwiler went on Sunday. The plans are for Shawn Hill to make a rehab start on Tuesday. Reports have Jordan Zimmermann, the originally scheduled starter still expected to make an appearance. At that point, the P-Nats could go back to Nunez on regular rest or more likely start Adrian Alaniz on Wednesday.
My best guess
Tue 4/8 - Hill/Zimmermann
Wed 4/9 - Alaniz
Thu 4/10 - Nunez
Fri 4/11 - VanAllen
Sat 4/12 - Detwiler
Sun 4/13 - Zimmermann
