He was selected in the 48th round of the June 2004 MLB Draft by the Los Angeles Dodgers. He pitched for the Astros Triple-A Round Rock affiliate in 2007 where he was 8-5 with a 4.13ERA and 1.35 WHIP over 24 appearances (16 starts) with 57 strikeouts over 117 2/3 innings pitched.
Assuming he’s in extended spring training until a roster opening comes up in Columbus or Harrisburg.

He plays for American Heritage, the top ranked team in the country. Could be interesting next year
