Thanks. I guess we will finally know his value to the team. I hope he can do much better than he has so far.
I really believe Escobar would have been a better choice, but the team is making it clear that it is time to let the kids grow up some in the majors. I just think Escobar would be the better player (until he was injured). That probalby would have been about a week, I grant you, but you never know.

What’s the deal with Padilla, too? Why isn’t he getting a look? The only reasoning I see is that Kory can cover IF cornerand the OF corners, but with wee Willy Harris and the bench you’d think they’d want some power in the line up.Urgh!@#$!#!!!
OhWell, that’s way I’m a fan and Jimbo is the GM…..

Bd - If you’re looking for power in the lineup, then you’re definitely not looking for Padilla’s .423 slugging percentage and 8 extra-base hits.

Any word on the return of Justin Maxwell and Cory VanAllen from the DL?

Berndaddy,
Padilla is an 11 year minor league veteran who has not yet played a full year in AAA.
The Nats are currently recalling younger players.
