Great to see Espinoza & Nieto debut strongly with each going 2/3 with a double. From checking the milb boxscores every day I recognized that 23 yr. old LH AA Harrisburgh relief pitcher Yunior Novoa has been putting up a lot of 0’s lately. But WOW!, check out his line over the last 10 games pitched -

This guy deserves a September call up and may be a bona fide big leaguer in 2009.

Just read something that said the Reds signed Yorman Rodriguez. Isn’t that someone who had been mentioned as a possible target by us?
Andrew S. | 17-Aug-08 at 5:21 pm | Permalink
Other Andrew, that’s correct…remember Stan said the money not used to sign Crow (or at the time any other Top 10 picks) would go to the IFA market? Rodriguez was the best guy left.

Rodriguez was signed a while ago. Let’s not act like Crow wasn’t signed and then they didn’t make a move for that guy… Come on.

Actually Roriguez could not officially be signed until just recently. He didn’t turn 16 until then.
