Back in the lead for Strasburg, although all 3 teams have the same number of wins. It looks like a real nail-biter, down to the wire. Nats are being helped by the return of their old friend, the injury bug. Two key players bitten in the last two games.

Getting back Dmitri’s defensive abilities at 1B should help some too. And he has only driven in 10 runs with 150 AB. That would equate to 40 RBI even if he were to play every day for a whole year and get 600 AB. Of course we should all hope he has lost weight, does not have vertigo and is not fatigued.

Maybe if it gets too close in the final week we can get FLOP and DeLuca back for a stretch fold.
Just jokin’.
Want us to win with our kids….of course I’d also like SD and Seattle to win just a little bit more with their kids.
Let’s play two!

Went to the Vermont Lake Monsters game.. Great show of clutch hitting. Norris with a solo shot, Espinosa with a rbi single with runners on first and second. Souza with a bases loaded walk, Marcus Jones getting on base almost every time. That lineup is the best I’ve seen in Vermont history
1.Jones
2.Smolinski
3.Espinosa
4.Norris (Taking out Dimitri)
5.Souza
6.Guerrero
7.Englund
8. Moore
9. Dugger, Nolan, Solis, Arata
So much offensive power these guys should really jump on the radar…
